Scott Magdalein has tagged me!
I don’t know Scott… but this whole social networking thing via blogs and Twitter in particular, has created opportunities for me to connect with new people like Scott.  The web circles I tend to run in are about church ministry/leadership, creative types (artists, musicians, photographers), sports and TV fans, family folks, and church worship leading.

These "connections" have been fun to foster and gratifying — for example, I’ll be hitting a church conference (Drive’08 | ATL) in May, and I already feel like I know some of these people that will be there whom I’ve never actually met!

Anywho… the rules of the meme-game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 or so people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to check out your blog.

What was I doing 10 years ago?
Cripes!  A b-day on Friday and a meme that asks me to harken back to the days of my "youth" starts to make me feel like I’m losing my memory! Ten years ago… I was… beginning my foray into the secular marketplace after a year-and-a-half stint with Campus Crusade.  I had been temp-ing and landed a short-term opportunity with AOL… which turned into a long-time gig… that turned into a full-time position — thus launching my "tech industry" career path!

Five things on my to-do list today?
  1. pick up and distro the stuff ordered from my kid’s fundraiser
  2. work on manual for work
  3. fax in stuff to contractor to get final inspection on basement
  4. look for (or borrow) a bagger for lawn mower
  5. worship team practice
  6. do this meme
